Whew, what a mouthful that topic was. Smiley

This is just an assortment of requests for and queries about Tom's works.

Firstly, it'd be nice to have the 'Greatest Hits' of LSL6. I want to have a CD that goes for a decent amount of time. Smiley

Secondly, at some point I'd like to see all the 'Sierra Soundtrack Volume' series uploaded. My research shows a great deal of the files are already on QuestStudios (mainly the MP3/OGG pages, with most files not credited to their respective CD's, though some are. Also on the 'CDMISC' page.) but there's still various medleys and enhanced works I'd love to hear that aren't available. Smiley

Thirdly, a query. Inca CD. The game only had Adlib support, right? Did you resequence all the tracks for SC-55 GM?

Fourthly, another query, you said you started the SQ6 soundtrack CD a while back. How far did you get?

I think that's all for now. Smiley

The "Greatest Hits" of Larry 6 was simply a compilation of the individual  themes in the game; therefore, I decided not to upload it (big file) as I was concerned with server space.

A lot of songs that are on the CD's are also on the MP3 pages; some are actaul tracks from the CD's, and others are non-enhanced, direct recordings.  And some songs were re-worked specifically for the CD's, even though they might already be MT-32/SC-55 mixes; they were remixed.

I have to be more descriminatory with MP3/Ogg uploads these days as I'm starting to run low on server space.  At this time, I don't want to buy anymore.  I still have room for a few more CD soundtracks, but at the moment, I'm trying to concentrate more on MIDI.

The "Inca I/II Soundtrack CD" is totally digital.  I don't remember if there was any MIDI support; as far as I recall, the game's soundtracks were done like LSL7's.

SQ6 digital soundtrack?  Not very far.  I got a lot further with the QFG1 digital soundtracks.

Fair enough; I'd just like to hear the track for my own CD. I suppose I could record it from the LSL6GM.MID file; there wouldn't be any differences between the MIDI you used and the MIDI in LSL6GM.MID, would there?

How remixed? Smiley

Heh.. makes sense to me. But what does 'buy anymore' mean, exactly?

The original games had Sound Blaster MIDI. I thought you might've converted. But obviously it was Callet who did.
I was further confused as there was an official CD made for the game.
And also that your tracks sounds like they're from a SC-55 and MT-32. Definitely, in fact. Smiley
(Not at all like LSL7's digital 'live band' stuff.)

I was just wondering if you still have the tracks, as if you could upload for example just the 'Orion's Belt Bar' tracks I'd be a very happy man.

Thanks for the replies! Most helpful and informative.

I think Tom meant that he doesn't want to buy any more server space as of the moment.

Heh.. on that note, add this to the rest of my last post Tom- how far did you get in terms of QFG1 MIDI's? What's the status on a QFG1MT.MID complete soundtrack, or did you never finish recording?

I have about 25 MT-32 QFG1 MIDI tracks recorded, and the first six I also recorded/encoded  in Ogg format.  My goal was to make this digital, but I may change my mind about that.

If you're having space troubles, why not delete the legions of files which are duplicates on this site?

And it'd be nice to have a QFG1 MIDI score, if not a digital one.

By the way, there were more questions unanswered from earlier.
