I was playing around with LA Synth Librarian to set my MT32 up for midi use with Renoise, and I realized I knew how to edit timbres, envelopes, etc, but I can't for my life figure out how to have the 8 parts have the timbres properly. I managed to go to Patch Temp 1-8 and have some of them be custom timbres, but it only works for every other part :? Anybody know how to do this properly? Basically, I want to be able to play 8 diff. timbres at once. LA Synth lib seems to confuse me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why do you need to play 8 different timbres in LA Synth? Surely after you've created new timbres and made custom sound banks for the MT-32 you can use the MT's 9 channels via MIDI software?

My apologoy, I wasn't very clear about what I was trying to do I suppose... I want to be able to use it's 8-part multitimbral capabilities from Renoise, but I'm not sure how to set up patch banks/ temp patch banks/ temp part banks and all to be able to do that. I know it's possible with LA Synth Lib, I just can't quite figure out how to work it. I got close, but as I said before, only every other part seems to have the patch I set working properly (for example, I set them all to be custom timbres and only a few parts actually are).
