CODE-NAME: ICEMAN General MIDI Version

The CODE-NAME: ICEMAN soundtrack is now available for Roland General MIDI. As usual, a track sheet is included. CNI uses a lot of reverb throughout the soundtrack, so the GM files contains a lot of SysEx data to control reverb for each song. Due to the vast limitations of General MIDI, many of the song files do not convert well. However, I believe the overall atmosphere is portrayed satisfactorily as in the original MT-32 soundtrack. CODE-NAME ICEMAN GM
Enjoy! An enhanced digital soundtrack, suitable for creating an audio CD (including CD jewel case art), is currently in progress.

Egads, you're right! I uploaded it this morning, but I'll be damned if I know where I uploaded it to!! Just searched my server and I can't find it anywhere. I'll have to reupload it when I get home from work in a few hours...
==== EDIT ==============
Had the file named "icegm" instead of "cnigm". All fixed.

Here's a preliminary look at possible CD art for the Code-name: Iceman digital soundtrack (greatly reduced in size, of course), for those who may wish to burn the tracks to a CD. These designs are still 'in-progress'. Other than screen shots, there's not much pre-made CNI art to work with... Front Cover

I really don't know anything about this game, but I'm interested now. Ok so looks like it's a submarine game, or at least has a sub in it.
Is it a simulator, or more something like Rise of the Dragon? I tried searching the web but didn't come up with anything.

It's an adventure/simulator game. You start out "adventure" style, like any other Sierra game. You end up operating a submarine in the middle part but sadly, this is the game's weakest point (for me). It's not as complex as real simulator games from Microprose, but it is worth playing just to hear the music as you go along. On the plus side, during the early part of the game...you will be treated to disco music in a bar/disco. The music here is well worth hearing, take my word for it.

Hey thanks for the info, sounds like fun; something a little different.
I think I'll see if I can find a copy of it for sale, I'm sure there has to be one on e-bay or maybe amazon.com.

I'm going to finish it this weekend hopefully. Am a third way through it. Got a points list now because there's a million silly 'US Army' regulations to follow to snag full points.
Fun game, music at the start is AWESOME.
