I uploaded the first 20 or so tracks last night from work....just a few more to go. I haven't linked them anywhere, so Alistair probably just checked the directory after downloading the Intro from the link I gave above and saw the other files there...though that doesn't work any longer. No matter, I'll have the links page up by tomorrow. I usually loop themes twice 3 times tops. I won't loop it 5-6 times just because it was orginally a very short one. the "Rog-In-a-Box theme is very short and there's not all that much in it. I find that most themes tend to become boring after the 2nd loop. Some even after the 1st loop.
Exactly how I feel about it.

Nah, you can't check QuestStudios directories, as Tom has smartly disabled access to anyone without the right privileges (say, Ari and Tom).
Hopefully there's more than the 21 tracks I have currently! And didn't yuo say you were rerecording the intro, Tom? (ARVL issues?)

...my sources tell me you skipped a fair few tracks with your digital recordings, for example Orat Cave... What sources would those be? They don't seem to be very accurate. The Orat Cave (Track10 of the digital soundtrack) wasn't skipped. There's 24 digital tracks in total. One of the tracks is comprised of three MT-32 titles, so the total number of digital tracks doesn't really tell you anything...

Personally I'd put Orat in after you get kicked out of the Caves once, after you've heard 2 of the 3 'Hologram' themes. With the Spider Droid before it as well. But anyway. One of the tracks is comprised of three MT-32 titles, so the total number of digital tracks doesn't really tell you anything... Yes, I guessed you did the old Tom L 'lump 'em together' trick. - Alistair

What I've done before with short sequences if I want to hear them more times, is open the digital audio file in something like Creative Wave Studio. I find the start and end points where the music would loop, and copy that section. Then I paste it in as many times as I want. Worked pretty well for the QFG4 castle music.
Of course that only works for digital audio, and Wave Studio doesn't recognize OGG. So you'd have to convert that to WAV first.
This also worked well for this Green Jelly song I like, called "Rock 'n' Roll Pumpkin". The music in it is amazing... but the vocals are soooo dumb. They pretty much ruined it with the vocals. So I cut out the instrumental parts, and looped some of them, making my own song from those parts. Had to adjust it here and there to get the timing right, but in the end it was worth it.
By the way Tom, I think you're right about the Tupperware containers with frozen strawberries. I can't say I've ever played on that, but I can imagine how it would sound, and it sounds about right in my head.

Yes, that was Ari's ... I just basically recorded most of his MT-32 soundtrack the way he had it. I didn't do anything with the order of songs; it seemed logical to me as the way I remembered playing it. Thought all the loops were perfect, too, so I didn't add or subtract from them.
