Pretty nice site...I played around in it with my SCB-55 and had a blast with the sound effects (laughing, screaming, machine guns, etc...). My MT-32 is not connected right now, I may probably do so later so I can hear its performance. Curiously, I wonder how other non-Roland/Yamaha devices would render the sounds. They could positively render the GM parts but may balk at the GS/XG maps (or probably make fart sounds when trying to emulate them   ).

Depinding what soundfont or DLS I use I can have the GS and by default with the creative 2mb's bank I have the MT-32 part. However, I must forget the XG part (including the SFX)

Try to download a free copy of Yamaha's Y-SXG50 Software Synthesizer. It will enable you to hear the XG sound effects. It's not as good as a real Yamaha module but I'm betting its better than any DLS soundfont out there for playing MIDI files (minus GS).

It will work with any sound card that has digital capabilities (it runs on my old SB16). It will surely run on the Audigy. Try it out, I was amazed at its performance.
