Hi everybody,

I would like to know what is the music played in Dr. Cadaver's house, in King's Quest VII.
This is well-known, but i wonder who is the composer, and the title of the piece.

Good evening

I would assume it's either (or both) Jay Usher or Mark Seibert.  It's difficult to always go by in-game credits, but that'd be my guess.

Usher and Seibert have composed the music of this game, but i don't think they have composed this track, because this music is used in several films.
I swear you that it is well-known. Probably classical music, but i ignore the work's and composer's names.

Firstly, Seibert composed nothing for this game, at least to my understanding.. sounds to me like Neil Grandstaff had a heavy influence over a lot of the game's music.

Secondly.. I've been told what this piece is, but I can't for the life of me remember it! Additionally, it's been discussed here over the years as well.. argh.

I'll find out, again, this weekend (tomorrow) if I can, and post here then.

I've never played the game, and am unfamiliar with it's music; I was just guessing based on the credits that pop up when I load the game.

The 'nice' woods from KQ7. It's some famous orchestral works. Forget the damn names. Busy weekend, will try again to find out tomorrow.

I actually did find out.. sorry, I've got more emails in the last month than in the last 6, I think. But of course by now I don't remember. Sigh.. Wait a sec, I'll add it it my 'to-do list' yes, it does exist. There! You're on 'the list'. Might be tough this weekend, due to my political meetings and my Mark Knopfler concert.. but I'll try.
