Is a MQX32M fully MPU-401 Compatible?

Does anybody know whether the MQX32M is fully compatible with both the UART and Intelligent modes of a MPU-401? Any reported or rumored problems?
I have the opportunity to pick one up for an older machine, and I don't know if it'll do the trick or not. I'd like to use it to hook my MT-32 up to the older PC to play Sierra and LucasArts games.

We've discussed this in the past and if I remember correctly, yes...this device does support Roland's "smart" mode. However, I wouldn't choose it over a real Roland product. If you have the choice, get the real deal...just to be on the sure side.
