Does anyone know of a way to copy/export ROM samples? It appears Vienna 2.x will NOT do this. I've tried a couple of programs, but neither are any good. Audio Compositor: this program apparently dislikes ROMs as it states that it automatically deletes them upon saving them. Awave Studio: simply does NOT recognize ROM samples whatsoever.  Only, Vienna recognizes ROMs, but, as I said before, refuses to export or copy them.

Well, its been several months now, and nobody seems to have noticed this post , so i found a little app on the net that can supposedly "dump" AWE32's rom, but i can't seem to figure out HOW it works! Although, i have an AWE64 here, that could be why it doesn't work. The readme file is written in broken, senseless english, and i can't make much of it. All i know is that it saves the ROM sample in .RAW format, which I could somehow convert to .sf2, right?

If anybody's got an AWE32, try this program and see if it works for you, and post the ROM sample here, thanks! The only other way I can think of capturing the ROM sample(s) is manually, i.e. to play them, & record them as they play (with Sound Recorder or whatever) The only problem is,of course, i have to loop the darn thing, which i find HARD to do, anybody an expert on this stuff?

It looks like it'll just dump the entire thing into one RAW file which means you have to cut each sound apart, loop and add any attributes manually.
I'll try it out on my AWE32 when I find some time. Have to transfer it to my old computer first...
