Hehe Smiley

You know; you COULD always ask me on my own forums. Wink

To be honest; it's not, not yet. Currently I'm doing SQ6 (and then SQ5 to go with it) and Police Quest 1/2, and Eco Quest 2 (and finishing the non-Sierra score Kyrandia also). Really want to finish SQ6 though. I've worked enough with that game's music!

King's Quest 7 is the next on the list; though. Promise. I really want to make a Sound Canvas (GM) MIDI soundtrack first though; like I did with Eco Quest 2.. and then look into enhancing the soundtrack again. I no longer remember all the music, I'll have to burn 2 CD's of GM stuff, listen and then go from there.

But you're right. It's a long overlooked score which is absolutely sensational. Good right to the end. I suppose the game having an excellent plot helped.. Some very good dark stuff, as well as lovely emotional pieces. Look forward to working with it; just keep reminding me via email/whatever. Smiley

Thanks for that Uchenzei Smiley Needed the impetus.

As far as I can remember, it is one of the latest adventure I played and one of the last soundtrack I liked. Much of the later adventures (SQ6 for example) are unknown to me and it is difficult to really love the soundtrack of a game never played and lived (this happen for me at least).

KQ7 and SQ6 were about the same time; and are musically similar in various ways. Not just because they were Roland SC games either..

However- I totally agree with you on the 'play the game' point! I find it *very* hard to enjoy the music of a game I've never played. I also can't enjoy a game soundtrack for a really rubbish game. Sierra's superb games attract me first, and then the soundtracks carry the memories I have of the games on.
