If we started with a supporting instrument; something that plays throughout the song, it would work.  Say in the case of Steve Dorian, I lay down a guitar track (in leu of a harp.)  Then, I would send the WAV to whoever would add the clarinet, and so forth - one at a time.  It wouldn't be that difficult to do.  In my case, the biggest problem would be the darn microphone -- I don't have a Sound Card with a stereo MIC input anymore, but could work something out using an external stereo mixer.  Well, it's something to maybe toy with in the future.  I'd have to do a lot of practicing before I'd be ready to record.  Unlike MIDI, it's not very easy to edit that bothersome wayward note in a digital recording.  Smiley  And we'd have to pick music that everyone was comfortable with.

It is quite an ambitious and daunting task...but it is possible. I guess the first thing to decide is what song do we try to recreate. I'm no musician and the only instrument I can probably contribute is the harmonica which I have somewhere in my house since grade-school. I could also try to play the kazoo if I find one around my area.  Cool
