Hi everyone, new one here, The incredible machine gamer since 386s PCs, also Dream Theater fan.
I wanna know which are Christopher Stevens and Tim Clarke influences, especially when they wrote that prog rock theme, it's my favorite.
I've sequenced it using Sonar 3 and recorded a real guitar, but am not satisfied with my mixing abilities. Christopher and Tim themselves participate on the mixing?
Do you have the Incredible Toon Machine soundtrack in this Database?
Thanks.

There's a "Sid & Al's Incredible toons" page right here in case you missed it.

As for your other questions, I haven't the slightest idea, sorry.

Clarke and Stevens wrote a lot of Incredible machine music as spoofs, as in musical parodies. This became more evident in TIM3, where the TIM2 MIDI soundtrack was digitalised (bar 3 pieces).

I have both the MIDI and the special digital version of 'Progressive'- the digital track is WAY better. Will upload if you want.

I thought you were talking about TIM2 when you started, but when you say 'mixing', I can't tell if you mean the TIM2 or 3 version. Smiley

Kudos for liking TIM music though! Cheesy Awesome stuff. Lot of memories amongst those musical tracks for us and many others I'msure.

Regards,
- Alistair

Wow, thanks a lot, great info.
Sorry about the nomenclature, I'm not familiar with 'Tim x' naming, only know them as The Incredible Machine (DOS), The Even More Incredible Machine (Windows 3.x), Sid and Al's Incredible Toons and The Incredible Machine (that one that comes in a yellow and purple box and now I know is version 3).
Can we have the MIDI version of Progressive? Wanna know how much more ear training I need looking at my sequencing mistakes.
Thanks a lot!

One of the TIM games features a song called, "Tuna Loaf", which is an amazingly accurate mimicry of Meat Loaf. Smiley

Haven't heard Meat Loaf but do like Tuna loaf, I feel the bass like telling me "go on, you can do it", "you can solve this puzzle".
