I know there's a lot of 'hard-core' Sierra fans here at QuestStudios, so why not try The Kingdom of Hove's adeptly named "Ultimate Sierra Quiz"? Good fun and nostalgia.

Oh yes, and before I forget- if you take it, post your score here!

I got 17, but even that was amazing since I'd only played the King's Quest series.  I did a lot of guessing...

16, bah. Been a looong time, it seems. Found some of the questions quite tricky though, especially given I've only played a few each out of QfG, LSL and SQ.

I had to guess on several (and surprisingly had a lot of correct guesses).  I got a 30.

I got a score of 21...not bad since I haven't played all of the games from Sierra and Dynamix. And to think that I played those games so many years ago.

Hehe, good to see a good response! Like TiBorg, I got 30. Which was kinda dissapointing for me, who'd played most of the games there. I fell over on the hideously obscure questions though (as i guess everyone did). Like anyone remembers the Star Generator destruct code from SQ1. ;P (Or the picture from the original KQ1 box!)

22 out of 50. bahhh...

I really should play GK and the QFG series some time, I suppose.

i did pretty bad because i haven't played all the games and most of them i played when i was 7 so my memory is kind of not there.

odly enough i did very well on the obscure stuff! i remembered the original box cover. freaky.

Beat you by one, Marten ... 20.   That's tougher than the Quest Studios contest!!

I got a 23.  My knowledge of the LSL games is very spotty, and I haven't yet had a chance to play The Colonel's Bequest or the Manhunter games, so I frequently had to guess on those (and was pretty much always wrong).  But most of the ones I got right, I shockingly enough actually knew.  That was a pretty tough quiz!

Given how knowledgeable most visitors to this site are regarding Sierra trivia, I don't think this quiz is a true reflection of anyone's Sierra Smarts.  And I seriously doubt anyone who worked for Sierra would do much better, either.

Yeah, I doubt it, too, if for no other reason than the fact that one's quiz results will be heavily influenced by which of the lesser-known Sierra games one has played and is familiar enough with.  (Of course this discounts the fact that even if you've played the game in question, many of these are obscure enough that you'll need to guess anyway.)  But certainly for this quiz you were better off if, aside from Sierra's main Quest series, you were a fan of games like the Conquests series and The Black Cauldron, rather than games like the Ecoquest series, Freddy Pharkas, Pepper's Adventures in Time and so on.

I agree it's hardly a true reflection, but it is just a bit of fun, folks Smiley

Fun for me because I've played most Sierra games.

Never played Freddy or Pepper, so I guess your logic follows Luke Smiley

I think if there's one thing we should take out of it, it's that we all need to play more Sierra classics Smiley
