If anyone's interested, there's a SC-8820 finally available on eBay.  It's rare that I see them.  It's starting at $19 U.S.

Thanks! Always in the market for checking out synths on Ebay.

I notice some other SC-8820 compatibles on Ebay also.

Uh.. the item appears to be taken off Ebay, sold for 19 bucks. Seems a bit.. odd.

The seller ended the auction early, for whatever reason.  He probably got a good 'buy it now' offer, and just reported that it was sold at the current bid amount.  You know there's no way he sold the SC-8820 for $19.  Smiley

Well, let's try this again. Smiley

There's a SC-D70 on eBay -- virtually the same sound as the SC-8820, with digital capabilities:

I'm watching it already. Smiley It'll go for too much, I wager.

I'm watching it too. I think it will go way out of my price range. Still, If it doesn't go into orbit, I may toss in a bid or two Cheesy

I saw a SCD-70 which was sold for only 110 pounds plus (15 pounds shipping). That are only 220$!!!
