Hey, I do like it.  You get used to hearing it one way and you kinda' expect it to stay that way, y'know.  Smiley  Don't get offended!  It's still great.... that synth has some nice drums!

Speaking as someone who hasn't heard the original version before, I like it, at least. ;3 The synth quality is really nice, though that's to be expected from your Fantom conversions. I've probably enjoyed this more than some of the other conversions of yours I've heard because the song isn't as inextricably linked in my mind with the original synth, and I can listen with a properly open mind.

Thanks a lot to everyone for your comments Smiley they make me feel that my effort is not totally pointless and there's interest out there, and that's a reason to keep on doing it.

Hey, if it's simply a matter of one patch change, have you ever tried synth brass instead of real brass, just for your own experimentation?  Smiley

I'm afraid it's not simply a matter of changing a patch, because then it would be really weird to have a "synth brass band" playing along with an acoustic pizzicato contrabass, an acoustic honky-tonk piano and an acoustic jazzy drumset. The best alternative would be making the whole track sound synthy, but in that case I think that the original MT-32 version is good enough (too good, actually Wink )
