I just started on it last week.  I've been wanting to do it for the past year, but was busy with QFG2VGA and AL EMMO soundtracks.

If Tom rushed right through the recordings, they wouldn't sound nearly as good as they do. And we all know that when he sets out to record a soundtrack, he does it right the first time. He doesn't have time to completely devote himself to recording music all day.

I think Rakeeh is referring to my announcement last year, when I said I was starting on it.  I also noted on the "What's New" page that it was in progress.  Circumstances got in the way, though, but now I'm on it.

It's (the comments are) definitely unfair. My last release was in September last year. Circumstances just get in the way- I haven't been able to record Kyrandia until now because of life circumstances (i.e. marriage).

Andof course we know Tom's got other musical commitments, too.

Well, I kinda feel he DOES rush through recordings, and does just sit down and spend a few days hitting a score on the head. I'm both envious and critical of that policy.

Well,

 Tom's recordings have always been pleasing to my ears. I think the problem is everyone has a preconcieved notion of what a specific recording should sound like.

If I may ask, what would you do differently? How would you improove the sound the quality to your satisfaction?

My opinions have always been well-known

I'd want Tom to be able to revisit recordings and change things if he's done something potentially musically erroneous, and for him to be able to add in tracks he misses. I'd like to be able t osuggest he do something different, and if he's agreeable, do it. I do think his time constraints sometimes box him into recording a track one way and that's the way it stays, whether or not things might have been able to be done better if he had more time.
But that's also true of me, so it's not an abject criticism of him or anything like that, just observations.
