The CONQUESTS OF CAMELOT digital soundtrack is now available for download...

CAMELOT DIGITAL SOUNDTRACK

There's a couple of minor 'additional themes' I still need to record, but the main soundtrack files are posted.  For the most part, I found little that I'd want to further "enhance" in Mark Seibert's score for this game, so the majority of tracks are as heard from Mark's original work on the MT-32.  CD Label and back cover are in progress.

A most excellent conversion, Tom. I'll be enjoying it for a long time! Thank you for this.

I concur- it'd be nice to hear more of the soundtrack though, to fill up a CD amongst other more obvious reasons.

:?: With full releases such as these, has there ever been discussion on having a link at the bottom to Download All (perhaps as a ZIP or RAR compressed set)?  If someone where to download the entire collection, I think it'd actually take a little less resources/bandwidth to have them download a single compressed file than each track individually (and make it easier to download if you do want the entire thing vs. one or two tracks you like.)

Agreed, big time. When I update my site I'm going to implement such an idea.

Tom --

Belated congratulations on another great score.  While it's always nice to hear music from games I've played, it's sometimes more enjoyable to experience the scores to games I haven't played yet (with this game being the latter).

This score is terrific!  It really captures the medieval spirit -- if not the actual music from the period, then at least it's a reflective Hollywood-esque score of what we have come to expect from modern movies set in 'medieval times'...

I've been interested in this one ever since I heard the "Glatsonbury Tor / Mad Monk" track from Seibert's Sierra Soundtrack CD 14 years ago.  Glad to see the rest of it was worth the wait.

Always looking forward to further productions, especially the new and improved QFG2 score.

Thanks, Gary!  I've always liked Mark Seibert's work in this game, but didn't realize that there was that much music in the game until I actually started recording the tracks.

----

I was thinking about a link for downloading entire digital soundtracks all at once, and I will be doing that once I get my home FTP server back up and running this spring.  I've already ZIP'd a few soundtracks that I was planning to upload earlier, but decided to wait.  Personally, I don't like RAR, even though it produces slightly smaller files than ZIP.  It's slow to decompress.  I'll be going with self-extracting ZIPs.  The difference between a 90 MB download and a 95 MB download seems inconsequential enough to warrant it.

Jay Grant has graciously submitted a CD back cover image for the Camelot soundtrack.  Thanks again, Jay!

Nice, although it lacks a little color as opposed to your other soundtrack CD covers, don't you think? Or is that on purpose?

It was intentional.  A lot of the "look" of Camelot is old, weathered, etc. and that's what I was going for with the cover design. If you'd like something with some vibrant color in it I'd be happy to make it for you.

There's now a CD label also available for this soundtrack, thanks again to Jay!
