Well the 880 is supposed to be a rackmount SC-88 pro, so I suppose it should sound the same.

Well, the 88Pro also has the recording problem, so this could well be a good replacement.

I'm still not sure what you're talking about -- a possible cabling problem or user recording error doesn't mean that the 88Pro has a problem; that seems very unlikely, anyway.

Sorry for this OT question... Did the SC-88Pro have built-in rom demo tunes??? Because my 880 does... I can record those if anyone is interested, I have never heard the songs before, they are pretty cool  |
