Hey guys...

I was cleaning up and I came across a pile of ISA sound cards that I'd been meaning to toss as useless. But just in case there's something I don't know about them, let me ask. Of any of the following, is there anything special or noteworthy that I may not be aware of that would have me keep or otherwise hang onto any of the following:

7 ISA Sound Cards
1x Advanced Logic, Inc ALS100 Plus+ based card
1x Advanced Logic, Inc ALS120 based card
1x ESS AudioDrive 1868F based card
1x ESS AudioDrive 1869F based card
3x Yamaha YMF719E-S based cards

I got these in a bigger lot of retro hardware and just never got around to tossing them. Is it safe to say these are of little real or retro value?

Be more specific which 7 ISA cards you have....  the gold would be there if there is any.

They are all generic cards it appears. No name brands as far as I can see. Some cryptic FCC ID's, but that's it. That's why I listed them by their chipset instead.

Whoops.... I thought you meant 7ISA + the ones you listed.  Confusion would have been eliminated with a colon ":"  Cheesy Cheesy

No... not much of value there.  Can you be more specific which XG cards those are?  It's doubtful, but they may be the ones with the really good synth set that would make General MIDI sound quite good for a classic DOS box.

EDIT!  Never mind... I did some digging on "YMF719E-S" and it turns out to be just a boring old FM synth - nothing worth keeping.

Fantastic... Into the dumpster they go.  Cheesy
I like keeping retro gear, but not useless junk. I was pretty sure they were of no value. Thanks for the second opinion.
