Yeah, that's a pretty neat animation. I like how it's all synced up to the music. You can get a realtime rendering for ATI cards here: http://www.ati.com/developer/demos/r9700.html
It's the one at the top of the list called Animusic. As it says you need at least a Radeon 9700 to watch it.

My ATI All in Wonder 9800 Pro came with a collection of screen savers and this was one of them. I saw this a long time ago on another music forum and was surprised to see the real-time rendering that ATI made! It's really cool stuff!

Wow does this take me back!  I remember when I first got my Radeon 9700pro - we had to wait for Direct X 9.0 to come out before we could use its extended features!  Though it says Radeon 9700pro, any ATI card with Direct X 9.0 can do it - although lesser cards will experience slow downs (my Mobility Radeon 9600 renders it at a round 27fps).  That was four years ago - and I still have the demos burned to CD too - so I could show it off to my friends.  Smiley
