New version of DOSBox fullscreen speed problem
«

I Installed the newest version of DOSBox (0.65) and tried full screen mode, but whereas in the older version (0.63) I had no speed problems whatsoever, in this version, games are especially slow till I switch to window mode.
I've checked the conf file and made sure that the output of the screen was on surface, but it's still slow.
The slowness is especially noticeable during fadeins or fadeouts.
Anyone have a clue?
My PC is pretty strong and shouldn't have a problem.

I have the new version but I haven't tried it yet (have no need to as I now have a 486!), but I'll give it a go and see if the same happens to me.
EDIT:
I just tried the newest version with Elder Scrolls Arena and despite the choppiness of older DOSBox versions, it actually ran quite well in this version. But there was no framerate drop when switching to fullscreen at all. Windowed mode was the same for me. I haven't tried any other games yet, though.

Funny, I remember locking this topic since I solved the problem within minutes of posting this.
All it took was a restart to the computer.
Everything works fine now.
