We've just had our domains moved on to a new server, and therefore, our DNS was updated.  You may notice some posts missing because of the DNS propogation process.  This is unavoidable, but things should settle back to normal rather quickly.  If you are reading this message, the new DNS has already updated for you.

We've been having a LOT of problems with sporadic server outages over the past year, especially with email.  I got fed up and asked our host to move us to another one of their servers that was more reliable.  I didn't think they would, but they did it early Monday...then wrote me about it Monday night.  So, there was a good 10 - 12 hours lag time between their moving my files to the new server, and my updating all our DNS accounts.  And of course, the DNS change takes time to propogate, so other members may still be posting on the forum at the old server....until they're updated.

The next time you do this, you might want to disable the old board while the DNS propagates, so posts don't get lost... Not unavoidable at all Smiley

Unfortunately, I didn't know they were doing the switch on Monday.  I certainly would have closed the forums if tech support would have told me they were doing the move, yesterday.  I was still waiting to hear from them on what options I had.  The move took Dianne and I by surprise; we would have closed all three of our forums ahead of time had we known, just as we've done in the past when moving to a new server.
