Bad game review for the new Call of Cthulhu :(

PC Gamer gave it 55%.    :cry:

I've been waiting for this game for quite a while, now.  The release date kept getting pushed back while the Bethesda kept posting delicious sounding bites about how good the game was going to be.

PC Gamer says: "Great atmosphere may be sufficient for spooky stories, but it can't carry a game---especially one so burdened by design flaws and punishing difficulty, it's almost certain to chase off everyone but Cthulhu cultists dying for a fix."

Guess I'll wait until the game hits the bargain bins.

If anyone's in the mood for an interesting, supernatural-adventure game, try Scratches, by Got Game Entertainment.  
Good story line and very nice graphics.  Priced at $19, it was a good week's worth of play.
