I have the original Cakewalk DOS software, in its box with all the papers, disks, etc.

Anyone want to buy it (and thus donating to my Finale 2007 fund!)

You'll have to let us know how you like the new version of Finale.  Dianne uses an older version and keeps talking about upgrading.  It's been a while since she's tried any new notational software; she was never really thrilled with the limitations of the earlier attempts.  But she always said Finale is the best of the lot.

Nice thing about Finale 2007 is it comes with a light version of my Garritan Personal Orchestra built in.  850MB of orchestral samples (vs. 1.85GB for the full version.)  Still, a great added value!  And you guys get to upgrade wheras I need to snag the student version just to be able to pay for it.

And bearing that in mind, I'm tempted to SELL my GPO software and take the downgrade just to get Finale.  I need it - badly!  I can't play live well enough to get anything out of a sequencer.  Sad

As a music teacher, Dianne gets teacher discounts.  But it's STILL expensive software.

That's what Dianne always asks me when she's notified about a new Finale version.

I have Cakewalk 3 for Windows (Win3.1, that is) -- original version -- and that's enough excitement for me.  Smiley
