Ari...what was wrong with the link?  It hasn't been changed -- was the file name spelled improperly on the Canaca server?

Ahh, I see.  The song title was spelled wrong in the link; should have been 'Gooses'.

Since all the links pointed to a 'MotherGooseOffice' file, I decided to change the name of the file at the source and dropped the extra 's' at the end. Hope that's ok.

Makes sense.  I updated the filename on my hard drive as well.

By the way, thanks for taking care of that.  Smiley

Well, I have to justify my title, now, don't I?   Grin

They did an SCI version of this?  I thought there was only the old AGI!

I should refer you to the thread on my forums which talks in detail about the many versions of MUMG- there's the AGI version, a SCI version, a SCI CD version remake (not sure if it's VGA?), and then the Deluxe version in 1995 which had a bonus soundtrack CD.

As far as I know:

AGI version (EGA)- 1986

SCI version (EGA) - 1989

Enhanced CD-ROM version (VGA) - 1990

Deluxe version (VGA or SVGA?) - 1995

I recorded this soundtrack from the 1989 and 1990 versions. The AGI version obviously doesn't have a MIDI soundtrack, while you can find the extra CD that came with the 1995 version at Alistair's site: http://www.smc.sq7.org/mgcd/index2.htm

Hey, you're Ignacio? Cool.

And, although I haven't 'officially' released that CD, download away.

Though you haven't officially released the digital tracks from the Deluxe version of Mother Goose, would you mind if I linked to it at the bottom of my MG download page?

I was going to redesign a CD back cover to include all three versions, but combining all three is 88+ minutes, requiring two CD's (unless I skip the Deluxe instrumental versions)...so I think I'll pass on it.

I'd appreciate it if you'd wait on this one. SMC's new update should finally come around Xmas, and when it does, you're welcome to link to the site.

Also, I'm probably gonna update the OGG files, rerip them and reencode them at quality 7, keeping inline with my new policy of Q7 OGG's.

Oh, I wasn't aware that it was not officially released, I saw the link on another thread. Sorry.
Although I never got to play the deluxe version (I got tired of buying new versions, I felt I was being cheated  Wink ) I think its soundtrack has a certain charm, so you should release it soon!

And yes, I'm Ignacio. We have met in the AGDI forums I think, but nice to meet you anyway!  Wink

Heh, AGDI forums. I probably should've stayed there (I enjoyed it quite a bit), but geez, it's way too stressful for me (too many idiots, too many people with basically contrary views to me on Sierra).

I've never played any of the games, though I have played Mixed-Up Fairy Tales.

I'll try and release it soon, just after Xmas. We shall see.

If not, when the OGG's are updated I'll let Tom link to it.
