Seeing I just got my old (486) computer back up & running (unfortunately I do not have a nice spot for it as some others have as shown in some pictures of their desks) I started fiddling around with my SW60XG in DOS with MegaMidi and found some very nice XG songs that I forgot all about. Brings me back to my favorite composer those days Sonic (Dave Kelly).

Anyone have good midi XG files they still like to listen to from time to time?

I like the default MIDI that is onboard my MU100R, no idea what it's called, though.

Otherwise- I haven't heard many good XG MIDI's or conversions. Probably why I don't rate my MU100R that highly, never heard it in its' element.

The Heart of China Finale on this site is good, though.

Also, I have a few rare good Chrono Trigger XG files, if you're interested.

Best place to get XG MIDI files is here: http://www.megatrade.ru/English/Midi.html

I've still not finished going through them yet, but it's where I found JRG - Rhizome  Wink

Even though I haven't dabbled with much XG, I was blown away with "Gentle Love" and the fret noise.... awesome Smiley
