Well, theoretically, Tandy and EGA colors should be exactly the same (except in EGA 350-line modes). Better take some pictures quick, so we can see the Tandy sweetness.

On second glance, it looks similar to the MCGA driver output.

Boy, that huge dot-pitch sure does help. Smiley

The difference between Zeliard on the Tandy and on the MCGA is that the MCGA mode is truly breaking the 16-color barrier.  Not the best game for a comparison.

Good point. Still, it looks pretty good for 16 colors.

Tandy and 100% CGA/EGA must show the same color palette on a 200-line monitor.

Well, I can sort of give you that:

Does this come close? I also turned up the gamma a bit to match your pictures. and modified the picture's color temperature to 9300K. I can also add 50% scanlines to make it complete.

Zeliard was pretty cool....  it had a higher-res mode if you chose EGA, better colours if you chose MCGA, and good support for Tandy's 16-colour almost-EGA.

All the Game Arts Japan games had that high-res EGA support, but I usually preferred the Tandy's output for some reason....
