Some of you may remember Joe...Sir Wulf...who used to visit here quite often.  He was part of the "Al Emmo" team; created the 3D graphics for the train.  He does some neat video work, too, and I wanted to share one that I think is really cool in particular.  Here's Joe's original post from the private Himalaya Studios forum regarding this video, so you'll better understand what it's about.

Hey guys, decided to post in here, as the game isn't released yet and not sure everyone should see it yet.

But, for those that don't know, I have another hobby of mine, making music videos within computer games.  The latest one turned into an epic of sorts, 40+ different games mixed into a six minute video.

Everybody Hurts by R.E.M., the theme, well we play games to overcome conflict.  Every character we play has something to overcome, whether large or small, it exists.  That is what this video highlights.

And well, the point of mentioning it in here... well to brighten up a rather dark subject, I inserted something special at the end Smile

You can check it out at http://www.sirwulfdesigns.com/ech.htm

At the very end of this video (after the credits roll) is a scene from AL EMMO.  Check it out!

Without wishing to sound rude, isn't that concept of his a little.. over-serious, or something?

And on Al Emmo, how's that doing, Tom? Will you update the threads you've made about it to let us know how it's doing?

And, have you guys taken a price cut? if so, I might buy it.

Why over serious?
Can't a game be a little sad?

I really liked the video, even though I've never even played 90% of the games...

Yes, I found it to be "serious".  No, I didn't find it to be "over" serious.  I thought it was a thoughtful statement using terms that computer gamers could easily recognize and understand.  And, I enjoyed the video.

I haven't heard as of late.  Though, negotiations with other outlet sources are still ongoing.

Yes, last November.  The price was dropped to $20 to accomodate direct downloading of the game.

Well, I can't say for sure it was a certain way, because I haven't seen it- i was just asking.

Good on Al Emmo- but if I was gonna buy it, I'd buy a box. I do want to though.. Hard to find the money these days.
