Okay, Zemus...I don't see any options for recording SysEx in Cakewalk, or in Orchestrator.  Can you give me a hint where it may be?

I haven't tried Pro Audio 8. In 9 you click on Global in the Options menu. Under the tab named MIDI in the new window that pops up, you can choose to record System Exclusive under Record. There you can also turn on and off recording of notes, patch changes, controllers and so on.
