Hi everyone
I'm having a pretty hard time finding information on the sc8820/50 online such as reviews etc then I remembered this board.  I've owned an sc8850 for years now and loved it but I found it a little big so I've always wanted the smaller sc8820 for both desktop and laptop use.  I caved in and won it on ebay the other day and just received it.  Now I just have to sample the sounds of each unit and probably end up selling one of them since the websites I've read say how similar they both are soundwise.  I use sonar to compose and I can't find an instrument definition for the sc8820 anywhere.  I've had one for the 50 for a while now and I seem to remember that older versions of sonar had the sc8820 in it's roland.ins file but it doesn't seem to be there with version 5.2.  Does anyone have it so I could start enjoying the sounds on this thing?  I'm pretty excited!  I think I'll probably end up keeping the 20 for it's usb powered access and portability but who knows, all depends on the sounds.  I'll have to see if I can have 2 instances of sonar opened at once and switch back and forth between the modules and hear them side by side.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
