I did some research some time ago.
I have lost my collected data, but I can tell you that they are very hard to get.

There exists something where you can put in normal SIMM memory, it's called the SIMMConn,
but the website is really really old, and the product isn't available anymore i think.
http://simmconn.tripod.com
You can put a SIMM on there as big as you like, but the memory can never be used beyond 28MB

The original upgrade boards have part number CT1950 for the 24 MB version.
This will give you 28MB in total.

Some russian site about it.

I'm looking for one myself, an you best bet is ebay, craigslist and similar sites.

thanks very much mace, i will look in those places.

the next question im burning to ask is:  since this is so hard to get, will adding the SPDIF out for the AWE32 make adding RAM to my AWE64Gold unnecessary?  all im concerned about is S/N ratio here, and if the AWE32 SPDIF is as clean as the AWE64Gold then theres no reason to have both, right?  i just wanna use a DOS tracker that requires AWE32/AWE64 to play back samples i feed it.  i dont care where from, and if one is easier to upgrade (AWE32) then why bother with the other, right?  or is there a reason why i wanna use my AWE64Gold instead?

ok i just looked at that simmconn site and im impressed... but you say this guy isnt in operation anymore?  thats a shame.

BTW im buying a GUS PNP and will consider an EWS card too, but id like to get this sorted first.
