Not sure though if it's usable for gaming like the AWE32 for example...maybe it's a pure Windows soundcard?

If I knew which Turtle Beach ISA card it was, I'd have a look, but I have no idea. Why not just buy an AWE32?

that is a TurtleBeach Tropez Plus card, if anyone were wondering...  

edit: at least it looked like that at first glance....  Embarrassed
Maybe it is the non-plus(basic) version ?

Neat thing about it is the RAM, allowing it to use samples.  It was proprietary software, but high quality.

...but no games used it at all.  You'd be better off for both music and games with something from somewhat-Creative Labs.
