Diamond Monster sound issue
«

I have a nice AMD K6-2+ system which I use a Diamond Monster Sound MX300 for Windows sound an a classic Sound Blaster 16 model CT1740 for pure DOS stuff
The problem is that something is run in windows everything it starts which changes my SET BLASTER line in autoexec.bat to Sound Blaster Pro settings for the MX300 to work in pure DOS which is quite annoying to say the least, lolol
Does anyone here have any experience with this card and know how to disable this thing that changes my autoexec.bat?

Try setting the autoexec.bat to read-only.
attrib +r autoexec.bat
