Is it just all my PC's that are broken or have any members here had the same experience?

Since one of my old PC set-ups has an ultrasound ACE also I'm curious now too if I run into the same problem.
I have to get myself a joystick though but once I get one I'm going to try it myself and let you know.

Maybe it just affects Sound Blaster cards

I will try to see if that applies with my ACE as well (It's a v1.0, so it might just be).

So 2 things to test: (1) See if another soundcard's gameport stops functioning while having an ACE installed and (2) see if the stereo is reversed.

Does the joystick work with ONLY the SoundBlaster card installed?  If yes, then there's a hardware/resource conflict.

Do you really need ALL those cards in one system?  (I'm a fine one to talk...  I had 4 back in the ISA day!)

YUes, the SB port works in all those systems I've tried the ACE in after it's removed

If you want to build a killer DOS game box you need all these cards...trust me  Cool

Have another GUS conflict issue, a Gus Max rev 2.1 I have disables my COM1 port in one of my 486 based PC's  Lips sealed
