I'll try 1.2 one last time at the absolute lowest settings...  if it's still klunky I'll have to go to the old DOS version.
Man...  I wanna' play it pretty bad now!

GAH!  Too freakin' hard!!  It was never like this in the DOS days!  Sluggish and crazy difficult even at the easiest level.

The 1.2 one... where you could select difficulty levels.  I managed to get a bit further into it, but it's just plain frustrating.  The DOS version looked nicer, even at 320x200!  Text menus are missing so you don't know what you're clicking on, heads don't talk anymore, though you hear their voices, animation is painfully slow...  This remake must need one heckuva machine to run well.  Pathetic.  Sad

I'll try it out today, see if my heckuva machine can handle it. (I do have a pretty powerful machine   Grin )

PS: Like the new avvy.  Wink

I liked the old one better. Although Bluemax spared us the conclusion of that particular animation...  Wink

Indeed, maybe a bit too gruesome for the young Questers.  Cheesy

Huh?  What??  I don't get it....  OH oh oh.... the old avatar...  yeah...  that was gruesome.  One more reason for the change.... although there's a "nice" version where he angrily opens a wrapped box but finds a teddy to cuddle.  Smiley

Dang - it works beautifully....  TOO well!  I'm hooked again!

Never trust sociopaths that work for HR in your company.  Sad  Oh well... maybe I can still sell it and get a SFF down the road.
