We're getting close. Watch us as we grow. Again: comments welcome. I don't have everybody's eyes, browser, monitor.
I know there's a few problems (light blue box appearing out of nowhere). Some text colors will change. Other little tweaks. But it never hurts to hear from those actually using the program.
Those who prefer the old forum: I'm in BIG trouble. I accidentally removed it and am trying to put the pieces back together.

OK, the gold bar helps a little with navigation (though I'd prefer a grey color instead, if possible), but 'Reply', 'notify' and other buttons at the bottom are still hard to locate. It might be the fact that I'm using Firefox and not Explorer, so I'll check what that looks like after I post.
Edit: Nope, it's not a browser issue.

I find the "reply" etc items hard to read / find. Could you put buttons instead ?
The rest is quite nice, I like the gold bar...

Love your avatar! I'm working on the problem. In the meantime, you get a darker blue to look at.

I'm sorry, but my eyes did not agree with the dark background, I switched back to amber for now.

I know. I'm working on this on a test site. I'm really sorry for the troubles. Hang in there. Working as fast as I can to get things the way they should be. TinyPortal is a bit different to work with, but lots more options for all of you when I work out the kinks. Try using "Theme 1" which you can find in your profile. P.S. I like Amber better anyway.

This is my pick for the final board theme. It's supported by the new v2.0 SMF, which gets away from a lot of the old standard layouts and buttons. When the 2.0 update is available, it will probably add more changes to this theme as well, though probably minor changes.

Glad you're finding it more to your liking. I gave parazythum his gold bar. The newer 2.0 is going to be so much more feature rich. Add that to TinyPortal and we'll have lots of bells and whistles if we wish to use them. 2.0 is also going to be much more secure (or so SMF says).
Again: If you should find a problem, please let me know. It has to be test driven like anything else. And you guys always find the cracks that need gluing - for which I'm grateful.
Luke: I updated the member status area to reflect the correct buttons. Changed some of the name colors as well.
Cheers! This has been a fun adventure. I have now finished 2 galleries and 4 forums.

Hmm, I seemed to have lost the ability to see and access the Moderator's forum. Does that have anything to do with skin changing?

Do you see any of the private forums? If not, have you expanded the forum tree (the little 'down arrow' button?)
I know that Dianne's in the middle of doing some updating of permissions, so I'll check with her about access.

This is much better, although I'm not sure about the gold bar...
Also, I don't know if this is because of the changes, but I get logged off every time I close the website, and I get 0 posts when I check for new posts since last visit.

That happened to me the first couple of times, but now I'm staying logged in when I visit. After I used the log in at the bottom of the main page (or click on LOGIN at the top), then deleted the default "60" and left it blank, checked Always Stay Logged In, it's like the old "Forever" log in sequence. There's no "forever" option with this board. That may change with v2.0 of SMF when used with this theme. Personally, I really love the gold bars. They kind of look 3-D to me, except for the top gold bar. Dianne will be removing that darker blue bar behind the navigation tabs. This will give it a smoother look. She's labored long while testing all of these themes. All of the graphics have to be created, and a lot of the coding changed. I got to do the "QuestStudios.com" logo, after I finally learned how to do a "fade-to-transparent" in Photoshop. But, Dianne's going to redo it, anyway, so that the color better matches the forum.

The lighter colors are much better. I like it easy to scan the right column of the forum to see if there are any new messages. On the darker colors a few days ago, it was painful. I changed it immediately. This is okay.

What happened to the option to make it wider? There were some buttons top right, and now they're gone. I'm @ 1680x1050 here.

That was a different theme/layout. Widening isn't an option on this theme.
Although I used to appreciate the wide-screen mode, it was hell for me to read sentences that ran on and on and on across the screen. This centers nice on my monitor, and adheres to the standard 1024x768. It also displays well on 800x600, which is still quite commonly used.

If you are looking at this through IE, you will not be seeing the forum as it was intended. My advice? Go get Chrome (Google's new browser which is very nicely done) or Firefox. Chrome actually is better than Firefox. Many of the programmers and designers that work on these themes complain about IE. Some simply refuse to work it out because it gums up the works for other browsers. They're simply sick of trying to work with IE.
