Not to sound lazy (I prefer to think of myself as discerning Wink ), but do you have recommendations on, say, three to five of these clips that in your opinion show off this device to very best effect?  I don't mean necessarily which comes closest to the MT-32, but rather simply which ones have above average sound characteristics in their own right, whether similar to the MT-32 or dissimilar.  A similar set of Top Picks for the IBM Music Feature would be cool, too.  Thanks.

My viewpoint is probably a bit different than most. I look at how limited the CSM-1 is, and am impressed by almost everything that comes out of it. I'm at a loss to recommend any selection that might showcase it to a better degree than another, so I would suggest just picking something at random - they're all worth listening to, in my opinion. Just 4 channels?? Wow, that's pretty limited!

With only 4 channels (I presume 1 = rhythm?) I would imagine it got the Adlib score sent to it.

Thanks for the post, Cloud. I think i've only heard this device once, and that was a long time ago..
