Can I use the same adapter on most Roland units?

Are the plugs the same?

Specifically across MT-32, CM and Sound Canvas modules...

I also read that the original Sega Genesis adapter is a perfect substitute...

Thanks!

They should be the same for most Roland LA/GS devices.  The Sega Genesis 1 adapter works perfectly too.

Just a quick update!

I ordered a few "Sega Mega Drive I replacement AD adapters" and they work just fine with all the Roland modules I tried so far!

I got these from ebay as they are cheaper than anything comparable in the shops (at least over here in Australia)

As long as the adapter is 9V and the polarity is right (and with the same type of plug, of course), any PSU should work, no matter if it's Roland or not. AFAIK, many (all?) Roland synths and sound modules all use ) 9V PSUs with the same polarity and plug.
