I'm working on a comprehensive list that includes all Bank 1 and Bank 2 waveforms. Any input is welcome.

(Click on the picture to open the shared Google Docs workbook.)

For everything other than the "Jam" and "Shot" waveforms, the Bank 2 names have been verified against (exact) named counterparts in other Roland synthesizers (D-10, XV-5080). Furthermore, I've decided to combine the MT-32 and D-10/110 names for the 1-21 waveform, hopefully resolving the confusion around the "Acoustic Piano" and "Boom" references. I also shortened the name of 2-27 and 2-56 to "Male Voice", from its D-10/110, "Male Voice-1" counterpart (given the absence of the "Male Voice-2" waveform in the CM).

Very interesting work! By the way, do you know if the D-110 has all the PCM waveforms of the MT-32 and/or CM-32L? If so, then in theory it should be possible to emulate very closely a MT-32 using a D-110, right? I'm waiting for a D-110 to arrive soon, and I'd like to experiment a bit.

I've pretty-much taken the list as far as I can. I'm still not sure about the purpose of the duplicate 125, 126, and 127 waveforms in Bank 2, however...

By the way, do you know if the D-110 has all the PCM waveforms of the MT-32 and/or CM-32L?

The D-110 does not include all of the waveforms found in either the MT-32 or CM-32L. It includes enough to do a pretty fair approximation of the MT-32 though, I imagine.
