This fresh CVS build of DosBox claims to have the latest Munt code:

http://ykhwong.x-y.net/

It sounds different from older builds, but it doesn't sound good. Possibly even worse.

Are we never going to have fairly accurate MT-32 emulation?

Anybody care to comment?

Yeah, I realise it's difficult and it's hard to do, but it is one of the only things keeping perfect emulation of old DOS games in their best quality from being a reality. MT-32 emulation needs to be completed. Hopefully it will be in the near future.

You should check an updated build. The integrated Munt version that is used is near 100% accurate. There has been tremendous progress in the Munt project lately and they believe 100% accuracy is near.

I don't know why, but it is only the April 13th mt32emu.exe version that sounds very accurate to me. The Yhkwong April 4th build does not sound quite that accurate to me.
