MT-100 power requirements

What are the actual power requirements of the MT-100? It seems very power-hungry. I think mine works fine with my 1200mA universal power supply, have lots of issues with other PSU's.

Considering that the MT-100 is a MT-32 plus a PR-100 sequencer, and that a MT-32 requires 650 mA, I guess that 1000 mA is an absolute minimum, so I'd keep using the 1200 mA PSU. Even that could be a bit short if you wanted to make use of the disk drive.

CM-64: 1200mA
CM-500: 1000mA
The MT-32s: 650mA
CM-32L: 600mA.
SC-55MKII: 600mA
SC-55: 500mA
SC-55ST: 450mA
MT-100 doesn't have the mA rating written onto the unit like the other ones but it will likely also be 1000 - 1200mA.
My Sega Mega Drive replacement adapter from eBay does work, but in Wing Commander the MT-100 Music "falls apart" after a while. I wasn't able to figure out if it's power related or if the unit is faulty.
I have a few original Roland adapters (JAP), but they won't even power up half the units. That's through a 110/220 converter first though.

I don't think voltage converter is your problem here. As far as I know, a converter just cuts off the unneed half of the power source. If the converter doesn't meet the power requirements of the PSU, you'd have a blown fuse. What a voltage converter doesn't do is convert the 50hz source to 60hz, but sure that isn't the issue here.

The Converter has a rating of 50W.
Anyway, one day I will just buy a 2A or similar PSU and revisit the MT-100 and see if I get the same issue under Wing Commander.
