To date, I have heard about two different versions of the control ROM for the CM-32L sond module; V1.00 and V1.02. However, I am not sure what the difference between these two versions are, nor if they can be interchanged.

The case is that I have a LAPC-I card with the V1.00 ROM, and I consider if it is worth getting an EPROM with the V1.02 ROM burned for it.

I'm not sure, wasn't there some kind of special sysex to find out the firmware version of these modules without opening them up? If there was, I would be interested.
