I was wondering if anyone here has the Kings Quest 7 midis?  I know that Alistair recorded them from the game a while back.  Reason I'm asking is that I can't get the game to run anymore on my computer, and all I wanted was the music anyways.  Thanks

Use the patches/installers at http://sierrahelp.com/. That'll get you going.

When I get the MIDI's edited, i'll let you know. If you want the extracted in-game one loop as is, i can send you that right now.

KQ7 justh as SO MUCH music, it required one heck of a month long recording project. I wouldn't recommend trying yourself.

To edit is even worse. So, don't expect that anytime soon (I've started just the editing of the GM score at least three times).

Anyway, let me know. I have the extracted music pretty handy.

Man, I forgot about this topic!  Haha, yeah if you could just give me what you got, I'd be pretty happy.  Thanks!

I got the game working in DOSBox (finally).  I forgot how annoying the voice actors were, haha.

Hehe, looks like I did also.

Here's some MIDI's. http://sierramusiccentral.com/assorted/KQ7.zip
I included my archive of extracted MIDI files, with folders, the main being the usual SC-55 score, then subfolders of oddities.

The "KQ7GM" folder is from Sierra's archives, or they were recorded by a fan in '99, I forget. I don't think there's anything special in it, but if you figure anything out, let me know.
