I'll quote and emphasize the most important bit from the article, and you can mosey over to EGM for the rest.

"Replay Games founder and CEO Paul Trowe, and series creator Al Lowe, are teaming up to re-introducing gaming’s favorite lovable loser Larry."

Now this has possibility!  I bet the music will be awesome!

Thank goodness Al Lowe's involved - it would be a flop otherwise!  LSL games have STUNK since #6.

I'm excited about this! Al Lowe was involved in the making of LSL7, but I was not a fan of that game...

I remember he always complained when interviewed about being kept out of the latest games. I hope the news really mean it when it says he is involved. I also hope they are updating the game story and jokes as well (not just slapping a new coat of paint). Cool stuff.

Awesome, thanks for posting (I almost wrote playing :X ).

I like the announcement, however it's almost worrying to see just remakes (although I know, they announced new games.)

I especially don't like reusing the image of Larry from LSL7, a game that to me was not like earlier games at all, but rather more cheap, tawdry and mean-spirited (and for no good reason). So that left an uncertain taste in my mouth.

The music is more of a concern than an excitement, but I guess colour me excited too Wink What I mean is, what will they do with it.. obviously, it won't be MIDI, and certainly not MT-32!

But.. the above said.. I am happy about Sierra news for the first time in the new decade. The main thing is Al on board. He was (is!) the series.
