Anyone know of any reason why I would not be able to connect my MIDI chain (2 keyboards, a wave blaster, MT-32, FB-01) to more than one computer?  I would like to be able to use some of the devices from both machines, not simultaneously of course, but without moving cables around every time.

Simply MIDI thru chain appears in any device manual.
With software MIDI processors you can intercommunicate as many modules, as many interfaces you can install and as long processing delay still unnoticeable.

Other than the MT-32, do any of these devices have MIDI THRU ports?  As NOPICK points out, it doesn't matter where a MIDI device is, you can daisy chain them no matter if they're connected to another PC.  You can also use MIDI OUT on one device, to MIDI IN on another, if you can disable conflicting channels (via SysEx) on the first device.
