MUSIC & SOUND CARDS / Miscellaneous MIDI & Sound Cards / Willy Beamish CD-ROM MT-32 Support

Sorry for this major bump. NewRisingSun apparently wrote a patch to reintroduce mt-32 support for the cdrom version of Willy Beamish (back in 2006). However that patch that was supposedly linked from this thread is no longer available. Does someone by any chance has it archived somewhere?
Thanks in advance.

I managed to get working MT-32 music in Police Quest 3: You'll need 2 files: - 1.PAT - a patch file for MT-32. This file is game specific, so you'll need to extract it from the PC version of PQ3. I use the excellent SCI Resource Viewer to do the extraction.
- MT32.DRV - an MT-32 driver. I used the one from the amiga version of Space Quest 4.
This proves that the Amiga version contains the MT-32 soundtrack resources, but it was just not enabled when released. So far I've only tested it in ScummVM, but I'm confident it'll work in a real Amiga and in WinUAE as well. I believe this method will work for the rest of the SCI games as well - but I'll have to verify it.

Those games didn't come out with a general midi driver/support. The GM support was also added in a post-market fashion, but only to a subset of the games: {EcoQuest 1, Hoyle 3, LSL1 Remake, LSL5, Conquest of the Longbow, SQ1 Remake, SQ4, Mixed Up Fairy Tales}
Those GM patches and driver can be easily found on most sierra fan sites. However the patches for the other games (Laura Bow 2, PQ1 Remake, PQ3, QfG1 Remake) are missing.
Asking Mark Seibert is a great idea. Please post his reply here (if one is given).

I have since found that it's GENMIDI.DRV that ignores non-GM commands. I have since written a custom one that passes on the drum set changes in Space Quest V.
NewRisingSun: Is there a chance you'll be releasing this custom general midi driver? Thanks in advance, Omer Mor.

Sierra released post market D-110 support for several games that are not included here. I have never been able to find those: - ECO1D110.PAT EcoQuest 1
- HOY3D110.PAT Hoyle 3
- LB2_D110.PAT Laura Bow II: The Dagger of Amon Ra
- LL1_D110.PAT Leisure Suit Larry 1 (Enhanced Version)
- LL5_D110.PAT Leisure Suit Larry 5
- PQ1_D110.PAT Police Quest 1 (Enhanced Version)
- PQ3_D110.PAT Police Quest 3
- QG1_D110.PAT Quest for Glory 1 (Enhanced Version)
- ROBND110.PAT Robin Hood: Conquest of the Longbow
- SQ1_D110.PAT Space Quest 1 (Enhanced Version)
- SQ4_D110.PAT Space Quest 4
- TALED110.PAT Mixed Up Fairy Tales
Maybe someone here has them? Omer Mor.

NewRisingSun: 1. What about the KQ4 patch that adds the AMIGA environmental sounds? 2. Is it possible to write SCI driver for the CGA Composite mode that will use 16 colors? (It is kind of absurd that KQ4 AGI looks much better than KQ4 SCI on a CGA).
