Heh, sorry Alistair:P

Anyways, it's just amazing at how life works.  I guess this has to do with religion though.  No one cares whatsoever how much blood or guts go into a game, but have any reference to human anatomy, and now you're going overboard!  It's just amazing to see how the major cultures on earth despise the body that much.

Hahahahaha Tongue
The game wasn't that bad, even though it had a bit more than the other LSL games. Besides, we Europeans are going to get an uncensored version of the game whereas the Americans will have to do with censor bars like the first game had.

Yep!  Here in the USA, we were founded by two groups of people:

* Those seeking freedom of religion, because Europe was too strict
* Those seeking freedom of religion, because Europe was too lax

So, we ended up with all the left and right leaning nutcases, while all the reasonable moderates stayed in Europe, happy with the status quo.

If you folks over there would stop SMOKING so much though - a bad habit you picked up after Americans, and now perpetuate even though the US has cut back considerably - I might consider relocating Smiley

Here in Norway it became illegal to smoke at places like bars, restaurants and so on in July. So if you want to live in a county that doesn't require you to smell like a smoked fish after a trip out, you can come here Cool

Pssst... you can turn LSL into the uncensored version if you do a little bit of HEX editing.. If someone is interested, I'm willing to relay that info..

Furthermore, it's interesting to see that certain countries ban extreme violence in games (Quake 3 - Germany) and countries like the US ban sexual oriented games (Singles). Makes you wonder what is worse...

You mean LSL8? Yeah, they wrote about it on the boards over at gamefaqs.

No big loss.. I guess I'll be downloading it.

And it's not so much of a 'ban' rather than a 'rejection'. Our conservative Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) did this with Phantasmagoria a while back..
