Wow. I've never heard of even a demo of Longbow (although I'm sure there is one) and if it indeed has speech, I want a copy!!

Yes, it was great!  Gwyneth Paltrow played the voice of Robin Hood, and Julia Roberts as Friar Tuck.

The costs of using these voice actors was so exceedingly high that they could only afford it for a demo version, you see

Yes, there's a demo for Longbow. The only Sierra one I haven't seen, I think.. You can get it from Brian Provinciano's sierra site- google 'AGI + SCI' or something. Must check it out!

I have the Longbow speech demo. I almost threw it out, as it is part of an old shareware CD. If there is any ftp space I can upload it to, let me know. I think it's about 10MB in size. And since it's a demo, there shouldn't be any issues of passing it around.

Ok, I sent it. btw: I made a mistake. It's about 1MB in size not 10MB.

Small potatoes; half the size of a typical MP3 or Ogg file.  Smiley  I'll get links to it posted on the Robin Hood MIDI and digital pages, shortly.  (After I get home from work in the morning, sleep about 5 hours, and have a minimum of two cups of coffee.)

I'll setup the Robin Hood pages in a bit, but for now, you can download the CONQUESTS OF THE LONGBOW DEMO from:
