Anyone remember this introduction?

(WARNING:  11MB DOWNLOAD)

This Windows Media Video file was captured from an old VHS recording.  The television show aired on CBS in January 1985 and lasted though March 1985 ... 8 episodes.  I liked the original pilot, but the series quickly went downhill.

Never saw that show ( a few years before my time). Would like to see it though, as I love 1980's SciFi (those synth sounds in the intro are great). Is there any way to get a hold of the series on DVD Tom?

I wish there were, but because there were so few episodes, it'll probably never appear on DVD.  The SciFi channel aired the episodes (chopped up, of course) back in the late 1990's...which I videotaped, but my tapes are pretty bad...even though I've still been transferring them to DVD, anyway.  I also have a recording of the original CBS series premiere (a twenty year old VHS tape), but it was made when I didn't have Cable or Satellite TV -- just antena, and my reception at the time wasn't very good.  Smiley

Back in 1985 American TV shows used to appear in Israel about 10 years late. I guess this one fell between the tiles for some reason...

WOW, Tom!  I haven't thought about that program in some 20 years.  I remember the program very well.  It was hokey but I like the idea of them being stranded in a world not their own.  Very sci-fi meets Mad Max type of program.

I just finished transfering all of those episodes from tape, to DVD...just for a keepsake.  Other than "Rules Of Attraction" (premiere, which I really like!), the rest of the episodes were probably some of the worst sci-fi ever made.  Smiley

Some guy's selling DVD's that he made (the same way that I made them) on the web.  The show only aired on SciFi Channel once, and in chopped up form, so if he recorded the original shows back in 1985...his videotape probably looks pretty bad after 20 years.
