Well, after reading Bassman's post about his Korg's "Internal Batt. Low" message, I have my own question.  My Technics is about eight years old, and after about four years of owning it, it started to display an "ALL INITIAL" message upon every startup.  According to my manual, this message should only appear after two weeks of non-use... is my battery dead?

Sounds likely. Based on your description, it may have a rechargeable battery no longer capable of holding a charge.

Yeah, I figured so.  Sad  Oh well, I'll be using another MIDI module soon anyways.
