When placing the poll, I stated a 1-week period for it, so there's time until next saturday for voting, and maybe there won't be any ties. Other option could be doing a "second round" poll between the two most voted options. I'll do what most people want.

Ick, even worse, LB2 gained the lead. THis is what I said- people are just voting for their favourites, not good conversion candidates. - Alistair

I know you maintain the notion that LB2 is an MT-32 soundtrack, but the GM version is still pretty good, and I think would make a very good candidate for an XR conversion.

It is a MT-32 soundtrack, plain and simple.
I don't mind the LB2 GM score, but.. to be honest, that MIDI soundtrack is EASILY Tom'sworst effort. Tracks are badly edited and cut off ,lots missing, and too many controllers.
besides, it's dead easy to convert MT->GM with the LB2 score. Shadowfax wouldn't have troubles.
Regards, - Alistair

Wow...and I've considered LB2 my BEST conversion to date. I labored long and hard with the music and, as a musician, thought I did a really good job with it. Oh well, maybe I should just stick to composing.

I think Alistair is talking about your GM soundtrack, not the digital one. I don't know how he could know how many controllers were used in the digital one if he was talking about it.

I don't even remember recording the GM soundtrack, but I know I wouldn't have "added" any controllers to Chris Brayman's MIDI tracks. The digital soundtrack is designed to replace both the MT-32 and GM versions, anyway.

Tom, it wasn't a conversion- what are you talking about? EDIT: Ah. Well, not all the digital versions rock my socks either, but it's still damned good. I was really impressed with your musical efforts on digital LB2, actually.. - Alistair

I said, "I don't even remember recording the GM soundtrack..." I didn't say anything about 'converting' it. I don't understand how too many controllers appeared in the tracks, since I didn't add any.

Poor choice of words, even though I converted it to GS for the digital soundtrack recordings and that's what I was refering to in that post.
